Bio
Elizabeth McMaster: A Passionate Advocate for Seniors, the Mentally Ill, the disabled, and their families.
Elizabeth McMaster has dedicated her legal career to serving the elderly and disabled community. Her passion for this area of law stems from personal experiences and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by seniors and their families.
Growing up, Elizabeth’s mother was a nurse who specialized in geriatrics. Through visits to nursing homes, Elizabeth developed a profound appreciation for the wisdom and stories of older individuals. She also witnessed firsthand the vulnerability of seniors, particularly those struggling with cognitive decline.
Elizabeth’s family history further fueled her commitment to elder law. With Alzheimer’s disease affecting both sides of her family, she has a personal understanding of the emotional and financial toll this condition can take. This experience motivates her to protect her clients from exploitation and ensure they receive the care and support they need.
After graduating from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, Elizabeth founded The Law Offices of Elizabeth McMaster, PLC in 2007. She is a proud member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (VAELA).
Elizabeth is more than just an attorney; she’s a compassionate advocate who is dedicated to helping her clients navigate the complexities of aging and disability. She strives to provide comprehensive legal solutions that promote dignity, security, and peace of mind.
